My journey into jewelry-making began on a whim, when I couldn’t find the perfect pair of earrings I had in mind. I wanted something super sparkly, long, dangly, the type of handmade, one-of-a-kind earrings that felt unique. Nothing I found felt quite right so I decided to make them myself. Curious, I studied the construction of the jewelry I owned, ordered some crystals online, and got to work. With a wrench from my garage, I bent wire and crafted my very first pair of earrings. The metalwork was rough, but I wasn’t creating to sell, I was experimenting, learning, and discovering a new passion. Inspirations & Proccess

As I invested in better tools, vintage beads, and semi-precious stones, my hobby slowly evolved into Sleeping Calico. My designs are deeply influenced by the architecture I admire and the colors of landscapes that have stayed with me. Each piece is a reflection of those inspirations, crafted with intention, meaning, and a love for the art of jewelry-making.
